Strangers in love nest.

Strangers in love nest.

Two strangers meet in the ocean of fishes;
Millions of fishes glide across the ocean’s torrents,
In search of fellowship, some
For satisfaction, and
Others for happiness.

Amongst the shoal of fishes in the ocean,
One female fish sashays with mystical aura of attraction;
Encapsulated in luminous smiles, that is
Archetype of the mother fish,
Another male fish, roams like a panther in search of fellowship.

Seeking God's indulgence

Seeking God's indulgence

Sitting on my tod,
my soul sleeps like a night watch, and
my heart beats the rhythm of a lifer, then
my mind sprints with much woolgathering, while
my body sweats emotions in full current.

My sins haunt me like karma, and
my good deeds desert me to my fate, then
my past sterilizes my future,
like a fragrance sprayed on a gangrened leg,
God’s indulgence I hanker after.

Begging for her indulgence

Begging for her indulgence

Years have gone, with echo of silence,
since our severance
As a penance for my iniquities against you,
I confined myself to the mud.
Every night comes with late night lantern
burning in my chamber as I try to write,
my ink is as dry as harmattan leaves,
yet my hunger to pen is alive and well,
I write in desiccated lines.
