2015 Etisalat Flash Fiction Competition is Open for Entries.
Which story would you tell if you had no more than 300 words to do so?
While you think about that, you might want to keep in mind that there is a good chance of winning a prize if your story is great.
The 2015 Etisalat Prize for Literature has a Flash Fiction category, and entries are currently open.
To be eligible, one has to be: an unpublished writer, an African citizen (residency in any part of the world is permitted), and be able to captivate readers with a story told in a maximum of 300 words.
Your friends get to participate in all the fun by voting for your story. If you make it to the top-20 list, you stand a chance of being selected by the judges.
Here is what is in store for the winning author:
For now, forget about prizes and the lure of the money Begin penning that story you’ve always wanted to tell in Oh! Not so many words.
October 19 is the deadline.
